#60 on the 2nd

Here comes Alimta number 60.

I was thinking about what that meant, how long that has been...I realized that I have felt crummy for 60 weeks over the last 3 1/2 years. That is over a year! No wonder I had some pissy days last year!

It also means that I have been blessed with more time than they ever thought. So, I'll take those crummy weeks.

Bring it on!

Hallelujah!, Holy Crap!, and Happy Friday the 13th!!

Need I say more?!

I had a PET scan yesterday, and I would bet you know what it said if you read the title of this post!
Yep--STABLE!!

I am almost speechless. What a miracle and hooray for Alimta! Yesterday was #59 for the Alimta and chemo #65.
ONWARD.

After the PET scan I had acupuncture. (Ok, I went straight for coffee first!) I think doing it before chemo this time made a difference. I did not feel as bad after chemo. I am hoping I see some results over the next few days.
COOL!

Happy Friday the 13th and have a great weekend.

scan week

I hope everyone had as great a weekend as I did! Actually, the last two weekends have been fabulous. Last weekend Cathy and I painted my living room and did some redecorating. It looks wonderful! She is so good at decorating (and the trim work!). Thanks, Spark! This weekend Sheila and I splurged on pizza slices from Pizzeria Venti and then yesterday I was in Fort Collins with Crys and Tina. We went to a crazy holistic fair and had a blast, and then sat outside for lunch. Fish tacos in the sun and NO WIND! I love these sneak peek at spring days.

This is PET scan week. That will happen on Thursday morning. Then I will have acupuncture and then chemo. I am going into this from a much better place. Thanks for all the good energy and prayers and cards and surprise gifts that you send my way. I can't tell you how much it helps me in this.

hugs,
chris
