Have a great weekend!

Welcome to Friday! Looks like a beautiful weekend around here. I think that we are all ready for some green and some calm.

I have been a bit overwhelmed this last couple of weeks with the highs and lows of treatment/tests/results/treatment/tests/results... Don't get me wrong, I am happy as a clam to once again hear "stable." I am happy as a clam that the Alimta is working so well and that I am feeling so good. But, dang! I need to go lay in the sun....oh, I am!!

I do not have the Discovery channel-could someone tape Ted Koppel's documentary, Living with Cancer, on May 6th?

Have a wonderful weekend!

chris

onward...

Off to start another round of Alimta. Hooray for stable! I tell ya, it is a roller coaster ride. After Dr. Kanard called I wanted to shout, laugh and sob. Whew.

Today is the day that my mom died, 1991. She battled multiple myeloma. I sure do miss her. She was such a joie de vivre kind of person.

Off to Ft. Collins...have a great day.

I just love that! Reminds me of me!!
Had a PET scan on Wednesday. Should have the results when I go down for chemo on the 19th. Here's hoping! I was a little stressed out on Wednesday. After doing this for more than two years, I have a routine and I have figured out how to live my life without CANCER being at the front of my brain. Then I have a PET scan and it puts it in my face. I have to think about it and worry about it. I must admit, I was a bit cranky that day! Went to yoga last night and then Amy and I had pedicures--I feel much better!
Don't forget the yoga-thon on Sunday, 10-1 at the Community House in Lion's Park (Cheyenne). Also, the spaghetti lunch, silent auction and jewelry sale on the 22nd. Both are fundraising events for Relay for Life.
Have a wonderful weekend!
hugs,
chris
p.s. Dr. Kanard just called--STABLE!!! Now, that is a great birthday present!
