To my Valentines

What an amazing gift! I am overwhelmed by the love and caring shown by my Valentine's box. It is packed full and I am still savoring it. I think that there are over 85 cards and penny valentines and home-made cards from all over the state, as well as wonderful, sweet gifts. (wine and chocolate--what's not to love?!)
As I told Bobbi, "just when a person gets to feeling a bit down and scared, here comes the cavalry!"

Thank you all. Hugs, chris

Better do an update!

I have not had much to report. I have been busy with lots of activities.
I am tolerating the chemo well. Only have a couple of green days, but they are not too bad.
I had chemo yesterday. # 7 on the Alimta and #13 for the year. I read a wonderful magazine while getting chemo. Some of you may be interested.

Thank you to all of you who responded to me about learning to knit! I am on it! A few of us here at work gather together and Venice is teaching us (or trying to teach us!) and Kirsten has found a class we can try in Fort Collins. Thanks Jilly for sending the Stitch and Bitch book. I am sharing it with the group.

Also, thanks for all the notes about my uncle Guy. They meant a lot. One of the articles that was written about him said, "He had a permanent cha-cha-cha in his step." I know he and mom are up there doing a lot of dancing and merry making!

Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
chris
