I am such a loser…here it is, days into November,
Lung Cancer Awareness Month, and I have done nothing.
I got crazy in October by all the pink for Breast Cancer Awareness. Now it is November. Did the checker at Safeway ask you if you wanted to donate to lung cancer? Were you able to purchase cookie dough for lung cancer research? Hair Spray for lung cancer research? A vacuum?
I was frustrated by the pink.
I am frustrated and scared by the lack of funding and awareness for lung cancer. Am I doing my part?
I have not written and submitted a proclamation to the Governor this year. I have not sent a letter to the paper. I did not sign up for the Virtual Walk for lung cancer. I don’t even have on my lung cancer bracelet, the one that says,
Say it, Fight it, Cure it.
Seems so clear.
