She's up, she's dressed!

This last round put me "in the quilts" as Liz would say. I gave up and went home last Thursday noon and did not reappear until Wednesday morning. I became one with the corner of my couch. The part that I think I hated the most was how emotional I was this time. Blue and weepy...gimping around the house...pitiful!

Numb feet have me hobbling a bit and I still have some numb fingers. I am pretty sure I have numb brain, too! Shareen has located some Glutamine for me to try for the neuropathy. That and B6 was suggested by one of the chemo nurses.

Sheila and I made some "I'm too sexy for my hair" buttons to take to the Cancer Center. By the time I left there last Wednesday the chemo nurses had given out a couple of them to some women who needed a boost.

I will have a new CT scan the week of the 4th followed by a meeting with Dr. Kanard. Should know then if I have to do treatments 5 and 6.

Join us if you can for the Yoga-thon on April 17th. Proceeds will go to our Relay for Life team efforts and, if a person chooses, to help defray some of my medical costs. Please contact Shareen Muldrow, smuldrow@att.net . The yoga-thon will be at the Community House here in Cheyenne, starting at 3:30. No experience required!

This has been quite a roller-coaster ride. You all have certainly made a difference in how I have handled the process. Your support and hugs and cards, and food, and amazing gifts have bolstered me up so that I can fight this thing. Thank you!
