Thank you for bringing me spring

To my aunts who brought me spring a few weeks ago.
Wow-beautiful daffodils, a smells-like-spring hyacinth, and a shamrock for St. Patrick's Day! Thank you so much. I love you!!

And to Sue, for the cheerful daisy mix of flowers this week...and your note.

I had chemo on Wednesday and today when I got up...ugh. Took make-up, attitude, and the hope of spring to get me out the door.

The good news is...no break.

The bad news is...no break.

My oncologist feels the Alimta and Avastin are working (she called it "mixed results") and that we need to stay after it.

I know that is good news. But, I was so hoping for and planning on a break. Have some time to clear out the gunk, workout, feel good. Need to get my head wrapped around this.

I will.
