good grief!

Seriously...how hard can this be? They have prescription drugs to help with symptoms. Just take it!! I finally picked up a prescription for the nausea...got it home, read the possible side-efffects and....didn't take it. Good grief.
Wandered over to talk to the pharmacist. She was great-didn't thunk me on the head or anything. Said that I could be drowsy and dizzy (already am...how is that helping?!) and could make me over heat. Great. I suffer from that now-sitting in a meeting with my makeup running into my shoes.

Was hoping to have something that would make it easier to head off to Boulder for a workshop...it is still sitting on the counter. sigh.

Anyway, chemo went well. Was that number 55? I think that next time will be #50 for the Alimta! All Hail Alimta!

I have been bugging Dr. Kanard to see if we could find someone else who was on Alimta, for a long time...someone with a similar experience. She told me that there was a woman that she was waiting to hear back from....well, she called while I was there! We chatted a few minutes at Lisa's desk (they were joking that I had been coming there so long I was even taking calls there!) and then we visited a bit on Saturday. Cool! There are a few folks in the thread I started for lung cancer on the Crazy Sexy Life forum (http://my.crazysexylife.com/), but nobody who has the long history with Alimta. Will be great to have her to talk to.

My beautiful daughter came through yesterday. She and her boyfriend had been in the Snowies fishing with her dad. My pal Kay from Montana was here and spent the night. Fun to catch up with folks on the patio.
I hope the typing is ok on this...I am so dizzy right now

hugs,
chris

    Hey Chris-

Good grief, indeed! It was awesome to see you the week before last in Cheyenne, even if only for a few minutes. You looked fabulous, especially those cute toes! I think about you often and always send good thoughts up the I-25 corridor to you!

    XXOO,
    Barb
